Bio for John Todd

John Todd has been playing music professionally on Cape Cod since 1971. As a drummer/vocalist, he played for 5 years with Chuck Wilson in the Plymouth/ Wareham area. He then played drums/sang on jazz gigs with many different musicians for 15 years, including a long stint with the Ted Rodman Trio. In 1983 he formed the well- known trio Dick, DJ and John. They played as the house band for many years in the Sheraton Ocean Park Inn in Eastham, as well as performing at other clubs and special functions. Utilizing his decades of experience as a music educator, John then switched to keyboard in 1989, and played/sang on the Cape and around New England with the late vocalist/bassist Dennis Curry for 20 years, well known as the popular duo Dennis and John and until recently as Just Enough. John’s extensive repertoire of songs from the 1940s-70s of all musical genres is unmatched.

Brian Kelly played in several Worcester, Massachusetts wedding bands (1977-1982) before moving to Cape Cod in 1983. Since then, Brian has played all over Cape Cod, the South Shore, and Nantucket in the band Seabreeze. He has also played for the past 15 years during ski season at the Red Jacket Mountainview Resort in North Conway in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Brian has established himself as a premier freelance and solo entertainer, well-versed on both acoustic and electric guitars, with an affinity for acoustic-based Americana folk rock. Brian has recently joined forces with keyboardist John Todd to make the duo COOL BREEZE a refreshing dynamic new experience for the Cape and Islands.
